In the second set Rochester hung with Alfred State tying the game at twelve and then again 18-18. The Warriors then took a 23-20 lead. The Pioneers briefly tied the set at twenty-three before Rochester went on to win 25-23 and pull even in the match, 1-1. Rochester jumped out to a quick 7-3 lead in the third set. Alfred State kept the score close they were unable to overtake the Warriors, dropping the set 25-20.
The fourth set started back and fourth with several tie scores throughout the early going. After Alfred State took a brief lead at 17-16, Rochester took over and won the set 25-20.
NEXT UP: The Warriors conclude this season with a third place finish after finishing second in the 2014 USCAA National Championship.
