ON THE COURT: The Rochester College Warriors defeated the University of Maine- Fort Kent Bengals in straight sets. The first set began with both team fighting for the advantage, the score was tied at three, five, and then again at ten. The score was once again tied, 12-12, when Rochester College began to break away.  

The Warriors took a 23-15 lead over the Bengals. The Bengals battled back but were unable to overcome the deficit, losing 25-18 in the first set, giving Rochester College a 1-0 lead in the match.

Set two started off with Maine Fort-Kent taking a 6-4 lead. The Warriors came back, going up 10-6. Rochester College built up an 18-12 in the set. The end of the set saw Rochester win 25-16 to take a 2-0 advantage in the match. In the third set Rochester again took an early lead, 6-2 and would not give it up the rest of the way. The Warriors extended their lead to 18-9 before winning 25-15 and moving on to the semifinal match.
