ON THE COURT: In the last quarterfinal matchup at CARC, #1 Florida College defeated #8 PSU Fayette in three straight sets (best of five), 3-0 (25-15, 25-14,25-14), to advance to the semi-finals of the 2014 USCAA Volleyball National Championship.

In each of the three sets, the Falcons used dominant offense and key runs to put away the Roaring Lions of Penn State Fayette. 2014 USCAA Player of the Year, Malea Kalina led all players with 12 kills. Teammates Kendall Baum and Savannah Gorman each had 11 and 10 kills, respectively.

Florida College finished the match with a 36 percent kill percentage compared to Penn State Fayette's 18 percent. 

Caitlin Williams led the Roaring Lions with 13 digs while Student-Athlete of the Year Emily Konter contributed 12 assists.
