In each of the three sets, the Warriors used dominant offense and key runs to put away the Mountaineers of Berea College.  The Warriors started the first set by going up 9-3, however, the Mountaineers countered with a 10-4 run of their own to tie the set at 13 each and forcing a Rochester timeout.  Using a .148 attacking percentage, Rochester was able to put together an 8-2 run following the timeout to create enough separation to take the first set.

Errors proved costly to the Mountaineers in the third set. They committed eight errors on the set which helped propel the Warriors to a set changing 11-3 run.  A run that turned a 10-8 game into a 21-11 game.  Rochester College would go on to win the set, 25-14, and the match, 3-0.
