ON THE COURT: #4 SUNY Canton opened up pool play B in Dana Hall with a victory over #10 Concordia College-Alabama, 2-0 (25-19, 25-15), in the best of three sets.  In a back and forth first set, the Kangaroos were able to take control in the latter parts of the set and finish strong to take a 1-0 lead over the Hornets.

In the second set, the Kangaroos began right where they left off in the first set as they jumped out to an early lead over the Hornets.  SUNY Canton would continue to have strong play from USCAA First Team All-Americans, Mackenzie Mynter and Morgan Bills, throughout the set to fend off the Hornets and claim the first victory of pool play B.
