ON THE COURT: In the final game of day one of the 2014 USCAA  Volleyball National Championships at Dana Hall, #8 Penn State Fayette defeated #10 Concordia College-Alabama to earn their first win of pool play B action.

The Roaring Lions jumped out to a very quick start in the first set to take a 10-4 over Concordia College-Alabama. Penn State Fayette would continue their quick start all the way to the first set victory as they used a .241 hitting percentage to finish the first set quickly, which included 13 kills on 29 total attacks.

The second set began with each team trading points to reach an early tie at 6-6.  Penn State Fayette would then begin to pull away as they gradually increased their lead from 13-10 to 20-14, and to finally 25-18 for the win.
