CANTON, NY -- The USCAA is proud to announce our 2015 Women's Volleyball All-American and National All-Academic team members. The USCAA honors 10 First Team, 10 Second Team, and several Honorable Mention student-athletes for their outstanding perforamance on the court.
The USCAA is also proud to announce the End of the Year Award Winners. These awards include Student-Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Player of the Year. This is the second year the USCAA have announced these awards.
Student-Athlete of the Year - One player is selected as the award recipient each year in each USCAA sport and division. The nomination process will allow institutions to nominate one player per sport/division. The emphasis of this award is on academics and community involvement, versus athletic performance. The award winner is selected by a committee comprised of National Office members, board members, and member Athletic Directors.
Coach of the Year - One coach is selected as the award recipient each year in each USCAA sport/division. Athletic Directors and coaches are permitted to nominate, but only one nomination will be accepted per school. The award will be selected by a committee comprised of National Office members, board members, and member Athletic Directors.
Player of the Year - Awarded to the best player in the USCAA in each sport/division. The top five players in USCAA All-American voting are considered for this award, with the selection being made by vote of the All-American selection committee.

Student-Athlete of the Year: Miranda Biondi, Penn State Brandywine
Miranda has achieved a 3.58 GPA as a Human Development & Family Studies major and will be graduating this spring. Last year, she became the first female athlete from Penn State Brandywine to earn an academic all-district award from Capital One/CoSIDA when she was named to the first team. Miranda has been an academic all-PSUAC honoree three times and will earn the USCAA All-Academic award this fall. In her spare time, she works at White Horse Village, a continuing care community for the elderly, which she hopes to parlay into a full-time job upon graduating.
Coach of the Year: Donna Parimore, Florida College
Parimore finished with a 23-5 record this year going undefeated against USCAA opponents (5-0). USCAA records show she is the winningest volleyball coach in USCAA history. Since 1999, Coach Parimore has overseen a program which has amassed nine USCAA National Championships, including a “three-peat” from 2009-2011.
